From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences. � Click Desktop & Screen Saver. � Click Screen Saver, and then use the slider to choose 15 minutes (or less). The simplest way to lock the Mac screen is to use the Apple menu. All you have to do is go to the Apple icon on the home page. Now, scroll down. To lock your screen, go to Finder > Apple Menu > Lock Screen. Alternatively, you can use the following command: Control + Command + Q.
